The Road Safety Indaba 2026 is a national dialogue and policy engagement platform designed to unite key stakeholders across government, civil society, academia, the private sector, and communities in the fight against road fatalities in South Africa.

Hosted by the Abuti Rams Foundation, in alignment with its flagship Tsogo Road Safety Programme, the Indaba will officially launch Transport Month 2026 and serve as the curtain-raiser to the Road Safety Run 2026, scheduled for 3 October 2026.

The Indaba seeks to drive collaboration, share insights, and generate actionable solutions to reduce road crashes and deaths — while creating opportunities for youth, MSMEs, and innovators to play a meaningful role in shaping safer roads for all
